Thank you so much for all of your comments. It is so valuable for me as a designer to hear what specifically you like about the quilt, colors combinations and overall look. So from now on, you will be the first to see the new designs so that I can get this gret feedback....takk, takk, takk!!!
For the winners, with the great response I had to have more than one winner, so I picked 3 numbers out of the 44 posts, through the number generator, the first number will get a KIT and then two will get a pattern.
The winner of the kit is #11 Linda W. She said: "I am drawn to patterns with stars, so this one is right up my alley. The placement of the star points creates dimension and an illusion of movement. I would put this in my family room so that my husband and I could snuggle under, and of course the cats on top, when the weather cools off."
Winner of a pattern is #37 Janice. She said: "What a lovely pattern. I can see myself snuggled under that quilt watching tv in my family room in the evening."
Winner of another pattern is #35 Rachel. She said: "That pattern is just gorgeous! I plan on decoarting our new house with quilts, both new and very old. This one looks perfect for cuddling on the couch in front of a cozy fire."
And then I have to just pick one more comment from Sandie, she said she wouldn't win since she was the first to comment, well this is for all of you, don't be afraid to comment numero uno, because Sandie, you are getting a pattern too!!!
Please send me your adress ladies to email@example.com so I can get these goodies out to you.
If you received your copy of Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting magazine allready, September/October issue, you might have noticed a little wallhanging of mine called BOO in there. I actually named it BOO YA, but the YA must have gotten lost in translation, he he. I made it in a hurry before one of our first Halloween's here in the states (we don't celebrate Halloween in Iceland) because the kids wanted some decorations. Now we love Halloween, decorate quite a bit when I am home and not at Quilt Market. This year Quilt Market is done a few days before Halloween so I am excited to actually have time for it. Anyway.....it is always so fun to see your designs in the big magazines, so you should go out and get one because this wall hanging is soooooo quick and easy!
