As you are reading this, I am on my way from Indianapolis to Minneapolis, by car.....so I am totally jealous of you, I would love nothing more than to be blog hopping rather then stuck in a car for 11 hours with two kids, two teenagers and a husband!! There is no chance for me to get them to stop at a quilt shop.
Anyway, today's blogger in the Minnesota hop is the one and only Terry Atkinson of Atkinson Designs. She should not need any introduction, she has written many best selling books and patterns, designed fabric, taught fabulous classes and is all around a terrific gal!! She is lots of fun to be around and for the last couple of Spring Quilt Markets, we have been booth neighbors....just imagine what goes on, all sorts of booth pranks and even a little pole dancing!!
This market Terry came out with a great little book with just bags in it, Big Bags, Little Bags; and in that spirit she has a bag pattern for you on her blog today.
So hop on over to Terry's world and remember to comment to be eligible for the grand prize. If you are new here, just scroll down to my placemat post from last Monday and add your comment.
See you back in Minnesota tomorrow!!

great little bag - I am sure I can find many uses for this one.

this blog hop is wonderful fun - learning lots and not costing me anything (ok right now not costing - new techniques do sometimes need new stuff :) )

Nice pattern. I have used your patterns in some of my classes. They're so user friendly! I'm a little behind on the hop as I had two teeth pulled and haven't felt the best - but I'm back now and I'm going to make your cute bag!

I love Terrys patterns I have several and I just keep making them. One of my favorites is Lucky Stars. I make it for my QOVs it makes up quick and it is very striking.

I'm going to give this blogging a try. What a fun idea. Can't wait to visit all the sites. I wish I had gotten the email notice when it started. But I'll try to catch up now.

I am so lucky-my husband checks ahead to see what quilt shops are on our way! We stop at antique shops for him and quilt stores for me-I am happy doing both! Have a safe trip and thanks again for all the great info!

Hi Terry, Just be very thankful that you have a husband and two healthy children to "share your trip with." Lots of folks are not as 'Blessed'....I love to make bags and I am new to knitting, so I am excited to make the "Sock Sack." Thank you for sharing. Lana H.

Gudrun, you and all the designers in Minnesota are so lucky to have each other so close by. I didn't realize so many great designers were in that area. (I guess because of the cold winters there's nothing else to do but design and sew! Lucky you!!) Thanks so much for putting the blog hop together. I'm having a ball!
