I would not have expected this response to my little Blog Hop idea in my wildest dreams, thank you so much for all your great comments...over 500 and counting...yes I read them all!! I know they are still coming and that is ok. You can keep commenting as long as the blog hop runs, just find my post and add your comment at the bottom.
Today, the oh so talented Heather Mulder Peterson of Anka's Treasures is giving you a free pattern on her blog, Trends and Traditions It is a great little wall quilt you can whip up in no time for summer. Go check out her blog and remember to comment to be eligible for the prizes.
I have gotten so many e-mails from you too, with all kinds of questions and I am going to try and answer them as best I can.
My books and patterns are available at local quilt shops all over the world and I would love for you to encourage your local quilt shop to order them through me or my wonderful distributors. I don't sell retail myself because I support the amazing network of quilt shops and distributors that keep us in business. On my website, you can find and extensive list of quilt shops that have carried my patterns, organized by state or country. If you don't have a quilt shop close by or prefer ordering online or through the phone, Roseann and Mary both carry my patterns (they are on this hop with me) and they would both be happy to ship them out to you.

If you already order from other online sources like the Fat Quarter Shop you can find my patterns there too.
My fabrics are a little bit harder for me to keep track of since Red Rooster Fabrics distributes them. I have been able to find numerous stores that have my fabrics available online just by punching the collection name and GE Designs into a search engine. Glow is available now for ordering so again...you can maybe influence your shop owners to order it;-) I know Mary will have it for sure.
Those of you that had trouble commenting yesterday....I think the blog might just have been a little congested!! All you do is scroll to the end of the post and click the comments on the bottom. Then scroll to the end of all the comments to find a box that says "Post a Comment". Just fill in your comment along with your name and such...hit post and it should work. Remember you can still be added to the over 500 blog hoppers participating!! Thanks so much for all the love, see you tomorrow.
Super idea for quick 4th of July placemats. I have enjoyed the blog hop. Your efforts are appreciated. Do it again.

Thank you for the quilt as you go place mat pattern. Tho I have quilted for many years I have not tried quilt as you go. This is now my chance to learn something new. I am now in the process of using many of the fabrics in my stach so my sewing room can grow to normal size rather than shrinking.

I started the placemat last night and finished it today. It is sooooo much fun to do. I have been reluctant to do the quilt-as-you-go method....but I will be doing more. I am posting the photo to flickr tonight if you want to see it. I used some of my old fabrics for this placemat and I did a self binding with rainbow thread and small zigzag. :)
