I can't believe a month went by this fast! It's mid September and I feel like we were just flipping our calendars to August! The saying "Time flies when you are having fun" is very true. The past month has been so busy with fun stuff. We had a lot of friends visit us from Iceland and I was able to take some time off to enjoy their company. Since then, it's been knee deep in work, trying to get things done before Quilt Market which is less than 6 weeks away! I will be able to show you some previews very soon!
It's sad to see summer go although we are sailing into the most beautiful season here in Minnesota. We got our last boating/beaching day in last weekend.
It was a gorgeous day with perfect temperatures to play!
Gisli had to do some last rope swinging of the summer!
Maybe I will have to try this next summer!! It looks so much fun. Although, I will definitely not have the gorgeous gymnast dismount like he does:/
One thing I am going to be sad about with summer leaving.... no more Hummingbirds outside my window. I have had so much fun watching them this summer, we put up a feeder right in front of our house and we have a few birds coming to it on a regular basis.
I got these shots through my front door window!!
I was pretty amazed to catch these photos because these tiny creatures are super fast!
I hope you have had a great summer and are gearing up for fall. Are you sad to see summer leave or excited for fall and winter?
Thanks for sharring the pictures of the humming birds they are wonderful pictures.

Excited for fall, yes! Winter? Absolutely not! Too bad one doesn't come without the other! We had our last beach trip last weekend too. Love the hummingbird pictures! Thanks for sharing!
