B. J. Woodlee

I like you block. Strip piecing would enable you to finish a quilt very fast. My two pressing quilts are a baby quilt for my great grandson who is already 8 months old and a wedding quilt for his parents who will soon be celebrating their second anniversary. I am so far behind!

I love your block! Working on I Spy blocks for a swap! Thanks!

Janet Greenslade

I have several things on my to do list and all before Christmas. Currently I'm working on a hand applique, quilted and embroidered wall hanging for my parents, a family tree.

Susan Dietrich

On top of my list is to make a t-shirt quilt for my adult daughter from her college sorority t-shirts. I'm having double vision and cannot even thread any needle right now so if I can get to that point, I want to make that quilt for her. She asks very little for me and has requested that of me. So, I want to honor that request if at all possible. Her stepdad died at age 61 in July so we are very aware of how precious life can be and I want to be able to do that for her while I possible still can.

This is beautiful. I especially like the staggered setting! Currently I have a stack of table toppers ready to quilt, and am also making ornaments with Dresden plate paper piecing.

Diane Figg Hamilton

Loved the block, especially the staggered block design. My top sewing to do project is finish a quilt for my son, he picked out the material several years ago and was asking a couple of months ago when it might be finished! Thanks!

Sally Heilinger

At the top of my list is working on the wedding dress for my daughter, so quilting has to go to the wayside for the time being.

Doris Cotten Rice

Quilts for Christmas gifts are on the top of my "to do List", especially one for my son.

I love how this block would feature some of my most favorite fabrics! The top of my To-Do is now whipping up a toddler quilt for my nephew, since I did one for a baby cousin first (and really should have done the nephew's first)... oops.

Love the name - I have a Nordic background and I just purchased some clear fussy cut rulers I could use with this pattern! Great job...

Joyce Baki

At the top of my list are two crib quilts for my newest grandsons. Their nursery is decorated in a jungle them, so one quilt has a giraffe and the other a monkey!

I love your block! It looks easy to make yet the pattern is very sophisticated.

Your Nordic Garden block is beautiful and I can't wait for the book to be on my shelf! Thank you for the opportunity to win this awesome quilt book!!! I'm just moving my sewing room into a spare bedroom so it will be a while before I get to my sewing machine! I do have two grandsons who are growing fast and I need to get quilts made for them!!! I better get to painting my room!!!

Carol W

At the top of my list is finishing my blue and silver Christmas tree skirt.

I have a t-shirt quilt on my dining room table that was supposed to be on a freshman's bunk 3 months ago. Various health issues have kept me from the sewing machine but I hope to get at it again this week. I'm free-motion quilting it in rows as it has gotten too big to maneuver on my machine.
Your blocks have an asian feel to them and I have some lovely pieces that would look good here. What a lovely pattern - thank you.

Your block is so interesting. Love it. At the top of my sewing list is finishing 2 UFOs before starting anything else.

Nancy Sue

I love Nordic Garden. What a great pattern to use when highlighting a great fabric! On the top of my to do list, sadly , is hemming my hubbies pants :) But hey, it IS working with needle and thread! LOL!

Pat Vetterlein

Love the staggered setting for this block! Just now I am working on an "I Spy" quilt for my grandnephew for Christmas.

Joyce Carter

Very pretty block and it really makes an interesting quilt. On my to-do list, I have several quilt tops that I need to get quilted. Thank you for the giveaway.

Glenda Pearson Bolton

I loved your block a lot of possibilities I am sewing binding on my latest quilts.

Possibilities with your block are many. I am looking forward to play around with colour combinations for secondary patterns etc. I also love your new patterns using the Hex Trim Ruler. Congratulations on the inclusion of your block in Vol. 8 and your new patterns.

Georgi Sears

Your block is gorgeous ~ it's perfect for fussy-cut centers! My most important WIP right now is the three tree skirts I'm working on for my girls. It's my first quilting Christmas, so I hope they turn out OK!

Sheryl Bordelon

The top of my to-do list right now is a quilt I designed for GSQA quilt show. Only 5 blocks made so for! Yikes!!! Need top done by January, show is in March! I really show get off here and go sew!! LOL

Judy Rianprakaisang

I really like your block it would be great for using fabric with a little larger print for the center block. Right now on my current to do list is finishing a quilt for my mom for Christmas.

Nancy Myers

Top of my list is sewing 5 baby quilts for a craft show.

Michele Timms

Love all the layouts for this pattern!! Currently I am working on a lap quilt for my cousin who turns 50 in December... it will be a surprise (eek!), don't tell him or let it slip ;-)

I love your block & I can't wait to try some of your other patterns! At the top of my list is to finish a Christmas wall hanging & several pillowcases for presents!

Mountain Musings

At the top is a Christmas quilt and my monthly local quilt shop's block of the month. Deb

Tammy Lyons

At the top of my to do list is to get caught up on the embroidered and appliquéd BOM I am working on. And I am a coup,e blocks behind on. I also need to finish a embroidered bible verse that is to go on a quilted bag for. Friend. And some mug rugs and a table runner. I am so behind...

Adrianne McCann

I love this! Great for 'fussy cut' or a 'signature' quilt! Thank you!

Cynthia H

What I am working on and what I should be working on are two different things, lol……Am working a City Sampler in Purple and Greys. Should be working on a wedding quilt for a niece. Also need to jump on a Christmas gift for my Father-in-Law. Both require some daylight and a space to stretch out and make some decisions, so there's my excuse why I am not working on either currently!

At the top of my list is finishing a BOM that I started in January. All the blocks are done, just waiting on the finishing instructions.

Colleen 'Shows' Waltner

Thursday is our quilt guild meeting day and I need to finish a bunch of baby quilts that they finish and give away. So what did I do today instead? I carded wool for spinning. Yup, I can manage my priorities just fine I just have issues with doing what I am supposed to. woopse!

Judy Brennan

Jammies for my 5 yo g/d. Dress, quilt, and pillow are done. YEA!

I just finished quilting a king size quilt and need to trim and sew the binding on it. Once that is finished, I need to make Christmas stockings. Thanks for a chance to win a copy of the magazine.

Amy Eileen Koester

At the top of the list are a few gifts I'm finishing up.

Top of my list: quilt all tops before starting another quilt. My PHDs have accumulated because I was so afraid of FMQ.

Marianne Dunn

A new winter wall hanging is next on my list.

Currently at the top of my list is finishing quilting a baby quilt/throw. ll_gee(at)hotmail

Vicki H

I have the binding to do on a table topper and I will one gift done. I am off to a slow start, but I will get them done.

Karen Watkins

I love the staggered stetting of your block. I would be excited to win your patterns!

Bonnie Larson

Thanks so much, Gudrun. I am currently working on a machine embroidery QS quilt and a QS French braid. I'm trying to get ahead on both of them so that I can tackle Bonnie Hunter's Mystery at he end of the month. Love your block. Thanks so much for sharing

Collette McManus

Top of my to do list is a Halloween braid quilt. Love the 100 blocks series and can't wait to add this one to my collection. Thanks for the giveaway!

I have two Christmas gift quilts to finish, one has the binding attached, just needs to be sewn down, the other awaits more thread (I ran out with only 1/4 of the final border left to quilt, sigh), then bound. Totally doable!! Then there's a long list of what I can make vs what I can buy (and how much time's left) for the rest of my list... Thanks for a cool block. di_caughill at hotmail dot com

Patricia Swatzell

I have been sick and I am so far behind I don't know where to start. Think my first projects will be potholders for the family with my mom's Homemade Roll Recipe.

Theresa T

Oh love your contribution! Excited about the book too,

Catherine Remus

On top of my to do list is the hand quilting I am doing on a king size quilt. It seems like I will never finish.

Kathy DeSchuiteneer

On my list of things to do - first I need to finish the 10 Christmas stockings - almost done. Second - finish the border for a scrappy sisters choice quilt. Third - start a quilt for my son.

Rachell Reilly

very pretty! and very bold.
the top of my list is to finish piecing the last four blocks of the Swoon quilt for my son, using Pieces of Hope for Autism by Riley Blake. He has autism, and loves red, so I'm using a red background.

Mandy Laseter

I am currently working on a 4 color graphic broken dishes type quilt for my son. Thanks for the chance to win.

I'm creating a wall Seasons Greetings wall hanging for my office door. Hopefully this will make others get into the holiday spirit.
